In my capacity as the head of the Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship Center – One Planet, along with Professor Charalampos Billinis, Rector of the University of Thessaly, had the honor of hosting a meeting with the General Directors of Greece’s Industrial Associations.

Attendees of the meeting included:

Elena kamateri –STHEB, Vasilis Kleitsogiannis –AITCG (Association of Industries of Thessaly and Central Greece), Katerina Rympopoulou – SVAP, and Giorgos Xirogiannis – SEV (Hellenic Federation of Enterprises), who was accompanied by Mrs. Viki Makrygianni, Director and Mrs. Eleftheria Roma, Senior Advisor of the Department of International Relations and Regional Development.

The potential avenues for collaboration were thoroughly examined, and methodologies for disseminating the knowledge generated by the University, were articulated. Additionally, the foundational pillars for the modernization of the University and proposals for prospective synergies were discussed. It is anticipated that the reciprocal exchange of knowledge and practices, along with the collaborative execution of actions and initiatives, will significantly enhance research capabilities, empower the University, foster entrepreneurship, and ultimately promote the advancement of the Region of Thessaly and Central Greece.

We express our gratitude to all participants and anticipate future collaborations that will contribute to the development of Thessaly and Central Greece.
