Cost Action’s NexusNet’s Workshop, Co-creation and Sustainability on the NexusNet EXCELLENTIA mentoring program held at Thessaloniki, Greece on 23-24 September.
This exclusive workshop was hosted by Professor Giannis Adamos, NexusNet Grant Holder Manager, Department of Civil Engineering and Transport Engineering Laboratory (TEL) at the premises of the Department of Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, offered two days of insights and collaboration on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus.
At the outset, I, as Chair of the NexusNet Cost Action, along with Assistant Professor Giannis Adamos and our hosts from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki—Professor Aikaterini Tsikaloudaki, Professor Fotini Kehagia, and Professor Srojan Glisovic from the University of Niš, Serbia—warmly welcomed the workshop participants and guests.
The inaugural day featured a series of speakers who provided valuable insights on innovation, governance, and sustainability, complemented by outdoor co-working sessions designed for mentors and mentees.
The second day of the NexusNet Excellentia Mentoring Program’s Workshop was packed with insightful project presentations on critical intersections within the NEXUS framework and the much-anticipated OPEN COMPETITION as part of the NexusNet Excellentia Mentoring program, where 12 talented mentees showcased their work in 5-minute pitch presentations.
