Professor Chryssi Laspidou, Vice-Rector for Innovation, Internationalization, Collaborations, and Digital Governance at the University of Thessaly, delivered the highly anticipated opening address at the 4th Panhellenic Nursing Students Conference.

The significant three-day event, was hosted by the Department of Nursing at the University of Thessaly – Gaiopolis Complex, and held from November 27 to 29, 2025.

Professor Laspidou inaugurated the conference on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at 13:00, with her keynote speech titled:

“New Generations and New Realities: Towards a Sustainable and Fair Future”

Her address highlighted the essential connection between academic education, societal challenges, and the healthcare system, setting the stage for discussions among nursing students, healthcare professionals, and the academic community regarding the contemporary challenges in Nursing Science. The conference served as an established platform for the exchange of knowledge and ideas, endorsed by all nine University Nursing Departments across Greece.
